Rhodiola, also known as Rhodiola rosea or golden root, is an adaptogenic herb that has been used for centuries in traditional medicine, particularly in Russia and Scandinavia.  I purchase my Rhodiola root from Alaska to support another family owned small business.

Pairs very well with holy basil.  I use both to assist with executive dyfunction that I experience on a daily basis.  I take it twice a day, in the am and at noon.  The two together help me to not become overwhelmed and shut down.
