The Essential Homemaker Hair and Lash Growth Treatment is a non-toxic hair growth oil treatment that is made of castor oil, emu oil, jojoba oil, sea buckthorn oil, and is infused with clary sage, lavender and rosemary purity confirmed essential oils.

Application recommendation is no more than 1 tablespoon and focuses on the scalp. I have recorded a YouTube video to assist with how to apply the treatment for the best outcome. Remember...less is more!  
 
I recommend using a clarifying shampoo (I like Acure) as a pre-treatment only if you have been using traditional shampoo and conditioner.  If you are using a non toxic shampoo and conditioner, this step can be omitted. A clarifying shampoo removes buildup and prepares the hair and scalp to fully absorb the ingredients of the treatment. I also recommend using a clarifying shampoo to remove treatment as well if you have been using traditional shampoos and conditioner, again, this can be omited if you are already using non toxic hair care products. Castor oil is incredibly viscous, do not apply too much. As with all Essential Homemaker products, less is more.  Everything is highly concentrated, and nothing contains fillers.  Using too much is simply a waste of product and will not benefit you more, and it will be difficult to wash out.
 
Notes:  If you are transitioning or have transitioned to using all natural, non-toxic hair care, you will not need to use the clarifying shampoo.  Can be applied to dirty hair.  Apple cider vinegar rinses are a great tool to use to keep hair healthy and shiny.

About the ingredients:
Castor oil: is naturally antibacterial and antifungal, is high in Vitamin E, minerals, proteins, and Omega 6 and 9,  and beneficial fatty acids. Castor oil improves blood circulation to the scalp, nourishes and strengthens the hair root. Its unusually high ricinoleic acid, all make castor oil great for promoting hair growth, controlling hair loss, and thickening hair.
 
Emu oil: is a natural anti-inflammatory from high levels of Omega 3, 6 & 9. Along with vitamins and minerals, emu oil increases circulation, moisturizes and promotes hair growth, as well as restores hair vitality and mends split ends.
 
Jojoba oil: promotes NEW hair growth by keeping the scalp healthy and nourished with vitamin E, vitamin B complex, silicon, chromium, copper and zinc. It has a very high percentage of iodine, which gives jojoba oil its power to heal. Jojoba oil contains three fatty acids: erucic, gadoleic and oleic all of which keep the sebum balanced on the scalp which facilitates growth of existing hair and promotes new hair growth.  
 
Sea buckthorn oil: has high levels of Omega 3, 6, 7 & 9 and vitamins A, C, D, B, E & K. Sea buckthorn oil builds good cells on the scalp, kills the demodex mite, cleans out the hair follicles, aides in hair elasticity, maintains moisture in the hair shaft where it is needed and protects the cuticle of hair shaft. Sea Buckthorn is said to be a natural way of promoting hair growth. The rich nutrients saturate the scalp and stimulate the hair follicles, resulting in less dry and damaged hair.
 
Clary sage: promotes hair growth and stimulates the scalp.
 
Lavender: improves blood circulation, promotes hair growth, and prevents hair loss.
 
Rosemary: stimulates hair growth, prevents baldness, slows graying, and is used to treat dandruff and dry scalp.
